Christie Cohen started as a Beauty Consultant with Aloette Cosmetics in 1979. Like most women who join Aloette, Christie was looking for a way to make extra money. To pay for tuition at Auburn University, she started holding home shows in the local community and makeup parties among college students. Her income from Aloette blossomed into a thriving money maker earning over $1,000 per week part-time. To top it off she earned a company car and a trip for two to Hawaii.

While studying for a degree in Speech Communications, Christie realized she was gaining real life experience with her part-time job, Aloette. Then she saw the vision.

It was like looking into a crystal ball. “Where could I go and name my own work schedule, have unlimited income, and one day, when I want to have kids, be my own boss? I already had that job.” says Christie.

That was over 20 years ago. Today, she owns the company, with over 10,000 sales reps in the United States and Canada.
